Beach Engagement Session
Engagement Sessions
Annie and Nate were a dream to work with, and let's not forget about their puppy, Moose. Late July sessions like these are dreamy to me, and also why choosing a later time in the day is important for the vibe you choose for your photos. Evenings provide a nice and easy, breezy (finish that sentence without thinking of a makeup brand) tone to your photos, and also help you not feel like the sun is burning your eyes, am I right?
Engagement sessions are FUN. I said it, yes, FUN AS HECK. It is a perfect way to get to know your wedding photographer a little more than the emails you send back and fourth, as well as to just take a break from wedding planning (kind of) and hangout with your fiancé. Working with my couples before their big day, as well as before our coffee date to help go over a wedding timeline, really helps us all feel like we are close. Do you really want someone who you don't really mesh with taking your engagement and wedding photos? Sounds like a nightmare to me. I like to believe that my clients turn into friends. This is a standard that I focus on with my brand- I genuinely care about you and your life, so let's all hangout and have fun before your most important day. I'll crack all the mom jokes I have, so be ready to laugh and get weird during your engagement session.
Love and light,
Alexandra Shaffer
