Lake Superior Wedding
This small town of Munising Michigan sure knew how to make everyone feel at home. I was so excited to be able to travel to the Upper Peninsula for Ashley and Jaron's wedding. Munising is a super friendly town full of gorgeous attractions such as the infamous Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore. If you have not been, please go and visit now! I'll link some travel options as well for those who are reading for some vacation and elopement action.
Ashley and Jaron met in the second grade. Yep, the second grade of elementary school. During their ceremony, Jaron's best man, who happened to also be his dad (I'm not crying, you are), read a note that Ashley wrote Jaron asking if he thought she was cute. Totally adorable, I know. Their ceremony was conducted so beautifully that I don't think there was one person who was not crying. It was so gorgeous to see these two sweethearts officially become one family this day. Observing two families unite during their wedding is one of my favorite aspects of my job. These families become one big family so harmoniously and as an outsider, that's a cool and inspiring thing to be a part of. I am so thankful for the places that wedding photography has taken me and feel extremely blessed to have crossed paths with so many families and couples who I adore.
